Bruising in Non-mobile Babies and Children – 7-Minute-Briefing
Learning from a recent serious incident involving a non-mobile baby (under 6 months) has led us to prompt front line staff to consider the Bruising in Non-mobile Babies and Children guidance, and in doing so supporting you to ensure the safety of such vulnerable babies. Advice on the steps to take in the guidance and 7-minute-briefing has been developed by partners and is there to support via your designated safeguarding leads should you be faced with a non-mobile baby who has a bruise where the cause has not been independently witnessed.
In order to refresh your knowledge and support your practice please visit the Partnership website to view the Bruising in non-mobile babies and children guidance, Bruising in non-mobile babies and children flow chart. and the Bruising in non-mobile babies and children 7-minute-briefing here.
